LATIN VIBE TUESDAY? ON THURSDAY?? - We’re back on a new day of the week!
Latin Vibe Tuesdays was one of the best and longest-running regular Latin Live Music events in SF! For over 3 years, VibraSÓN played each Tuesday at the enchanting Bar Fluxus, with exciting new music for dancers and audiences alike. On THURSDAY, Nov 18, 2021, we are returning on a new day of the week with an all-star band. Conjunto VibraSÓN is a slightly smaller version to help mitigate sound level at the hotel bar and will feature Marco Diaz on piano, Saul Sierra on bass, Charlie Barreda on vibes, guest vocalist Manny Martinez, Jake on bongo/bell and special guest star Karl Perazzo (of Santana Band fame) on congas for an unforgettable night.

Bar Fluxus has been sold and we are sad to announce that the last Latin Vibe Thursday was on June 30, 2022… :-( We will miss this great venue after playing weekly (aside from pandemic) almost 4 years! — Jake/VibraSON

Latin Vibe Tuesdays/Thursdays takes place at the exciting new BAR FLUXUS, located inside the Hotel des Arts in San Francisco.
Bar Fluxus - Best Happy Hour 2018!
Located in the Hotel des Arts in downtown San Francisco, Bar Fluxus was built from the ground up to be a warm place for people to relax, listen to music, dance, enjoy art, drinks and good company into the wee hours.
With an eclectic décor, Bar Fluxus has a long bar and surrounding tables to relax and enjoy drinks and good company. There is also a state-of-the-art stage and sound system for LIVE music - a more rare thing these days, so take advantage of this great environment to hang.

Fluxus is an international and interdisciplinary group of artists, composers, designers and poets that took shape in the 1960s and 1970s.[1][2] Dutch gallerist and art critic Harry Ruhé describes Fluxus as "the most radical and experimental art movement of the sixties".[3][4] Fluxus is known for experimental contributions to different artistic media and disciplines.
Not coincidentally, VibraSÓN plays great Latin and Salsa music that has its roots in the 1960s and 1970s Latin Boogaloo scene in NYC, where a hip new sound was introduced with vibraphone added to the mix.
VibraSON plays every Tuesday night at Bar Fluxus starting at 9:30pm. Dance Floor Open!!
NOTE ABOUT LOCATION: Bar Fluxus is located inside the Hotel des Arts, 447 Bush St, but has it's own private entrance on Harlan Place at back of hotel. Harlan intersects Grant Ave right at the Hotel Triton. Look for the Yellow paint above the metal stairs leading up to Bar Fluxus! Plenty of street parking at night that is free in that area.
